“Sri Lanka ECCD” Mobile App for Quality Early Childhood Education
Professional Development Through Digital Learning
Members of the South Asian International Association for Early Childhood Care and Development (SAIA4ECCD) have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a modern Education Management System free of charge. All approved members will receive a username and password to access the “Professional Development for Quality Early Childhood Education” SMART School platform and the “Sri Lanka ECCD” Mobile App, enabling them to enhance their professional knowledge and digital competencies in Early Childhood Education.
How to Access and Use the Mobile App and SMART School
Step 1 – Download the Mobile App
- Download the “Sri Lanka ECCD” Mobile App from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad).
- (Click here using your Android mobile phone to download the app.)
Step 2 – Check Your Registration Status
- Refer to the applicant list below and locate your name. Check the final column to confirm whether a password has been created for your account.
- Please allow up to five (5) working days for account processing.
Step 3 – Log In to Your Account
- Once your name appears in the list and your account has been activated:
- Username: Your mobile phone number without “0” (If your mobile number 0777123456 your user name is 777123456)
- Temporary Password: 2026
- Use these credentials to log in to the mobile app and SMART School platform.
Step 4 – Change Your Password
- For security purposes, please change your temporary password immediately after your first login.
Step 5 – Technical Support

- Office Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Our support team will respond during office hours.
Step 6 – Submit a New Application
- If you have not submitted application or If your name does not appear in the applicant list, please submit a new application. Click here for details.
Step 7 – Upgrade to a SMART ECCD Centre
- After gaining experience with the Mobile App and SMART School platform, your institution can progress towards becoming a SMART ECCD Centre.
- This upgrade enables your centre to adopt modern digital management practices, improve communication with parents, and enhance the quality of early childhood education services.
