“Sri Lanka ECCD” Mobile App for Quality Early Childhood Education
The South Asian International Association for Early Childhood Care and Development (SAIA4ECCD) is an internationally recognized organization based in Sri Lanka, dedicated to improving the quality of early childhood education through innovation, collaboration, and capacity building. We work closely with global education stakeholders to enhance best practices and build meaningful networks among institutions, educators, and students.
In today’s rapidly changing world, technological transformation in education is not only timely but essential. As we collectively strive to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), SAIA4ECCD has introduced a cutting-edge Education Management System (EMS) that supports ECCD Centers, schools to upgrade their institutes as SMART Schools.
Members of the SAIA4ECCD have the opportunity to get experience free of charge on the Education management system. All members will get a user name and password to access the “Professional Development for Quality Education” SMART School .
Through “Professional Development for Quality Education” SMART School,
you will be able to:
- Participate in online lectures and professional development programs free of charge.
- Study the following programs free of charge:
- International Diploma in STREAM Education
- Communication Skills in the English Language
- Competencies in Early Childhood Education – NVQ Level 4 Curriculum
- Competencies in Child Caregiving – NVQ Level 4 Curriculum
- Share your STREAM-based activities in the “STREAM Education in South Asian Countries” community and become eligible to receive certificates of recognition, medals, and awards for the performance of your ECCD Center.
- Share your achievements in the “Teachers’ Performance on Quality Education” Facebook Group and become eligible to receive certificates of recognition, medals, and awards for your contributions and performance in the education sector.
Guidance to use Mobile App and SMART School
- Click here to submit an application to become a member of the “Professional Development for Quality Education” SMART School.
- Download the “Sri Lanka ECCD” Mobile app to your phone through the Android Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Click here to check whether an account has been created for you. (It may take up to 5 working days.)
- If your name is visible, use your mobile number as the username and use 2026 as the temporary password. Log in to the mobile app using your username and password.
- After gaining experience with the mobile app and SMART School system, you can upgrade your ECCD Centre into a SMART ECCD Centre. For more details, click here.
